It's graduation season, and although the hiring wave is cooling off, it's still possible to find entry-level positions with six-figure average salaries for those just out of college or graduate school.

Fox Business examined which jobs had the highest starting salaries using a Glassdoor salary analysis submitted between May 1, 2023 and April 30, 2024. Each job has at least 75 salaries reported by Glassdoor users.

The result is a list of the 15 highest paying jobs based on average salary.

Seven engineering positions were on the list. The other eight roles were in the areas of consulting, medicine or law.

The latest report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that employers added fewer jobs in April than expected and average. Bloomberg noted that the overall job gain of 175,000 was the smallest the BLS has recorded in six months.

Here are the top 15 jobs with the highest average salaries.

1. Family doctor

Average wage: $130,000

2. Pharmacist

Average salary: $120,000

3. Software architect

Average salary: $120,000

4. Product Manager

Average salary: $110,000

5. Software developer

Average salary: $100,000

6. Data Engineer

Median wage: $93,472

7. Lawyer

Average salary: $90,000

8. Hardware engineer

Average wage: $85,000

9. Information Security Specialist

Average wage: $83,000

10. Chemical engineer

Average salary: $82,000

11. Business Consultant

Average wage: $82,000

12. Actuarial advisor

Median wage: $81,150

13. Electrical engineer

Average wage: $80,500

14. Design engineer

Average salary: $78,000

15. Mechanical engineer

Average salary: $75,500
