Why watch the movie? Dirty Money takes a deep dive into corporate fraud and greed, and sheds light on some scandals you've probably heard about (but may have forgotten) or never fully understood.

What you'll take away: Each episode covers a case involving some form of greed and corruption. From crippling payday loans to automaker emissions cheats to money laundering for cartels, the series takes you on a thrilling journey through fraud and corporate misdeeds.

Suits is set in a fictional New York City law firm and follows a talented college dropout who works as a paralegal despite never going to law school. The show's two main characters, Harvey and Mike, teach lessons in confidence and bravery and show how far you can go if someone believes in you.

Why should you watch the series? Over the course of seven seasons, Suits uses quick-witted work humor to show how the characters deal with difficult situations – and always emerge victorious.

What you'll take away: The show champions perseverance, the importance of sticking to your ethics, and the need for strong communication. It's a great way to learn about negotiation skills and how to handle complex corporate situations and dynamics.

This truthful comedy for working parents finds humor amidst the stress that comes with trying to maintain a work-life balance. Workin' Moms features a group of female friends navigating the challenges of life as working mothers and dealing with difficult situations in a hectic and competitive work environment.

Why should you watch it? The show goes beyond the stereotypical, one-dimensional portraits of parents we see in many sitcoms. This show feels authentic in the way it shows people trying to balance their personal lives, parenting, and professional goals – and it's funny, too.

What you'll take away: The show doesn't shy away from depicting the less-than-idyllic reality of working moms — but it does so in a relatable way that finds the humor in everyday life. So if you're someone who has to be a badass entrepreneur while caring for a little human or two and trying to maintain some semblance of a relationship, you'll enjoy this show.

The human mind is often considered a great mystery, but scientists have put a lot of work into solving the mystery of how our brains work.

Why watch it? The Mind, Explained is a Netflix documentary series about how our brains work. It takes you through five of the most fascinating parts of the human mind, covering memory, dreams, anxiety, mindfulness and psychedelics.

What you get out of it: The better you as an entrepreneur unlock the secrets of the mind and understand how people think and what drives them, the better you can integrate this knowledge into your own marketing and business strategies.

Based on the nonfiction book of the same name by reporter Mike Isaac, “Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber” chronicles the meteoric rise and stunning fall of former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick. His disruptive business plan and questionable ethics helped Uber succeed, but at what cost?

Why watch the show? The show might change the way you think about the ride-sharing industry and its overall ideology. For entrepreneurs, however, the show is a case study in failed leadership: how greed can be a corrupting force and the legacy of a win-at-all-costs ethos.

What you'll take away: The series, which has been renewed for a second season, gives viewers an inside look at how Uber's business model works and how the company has established its presence across America — while skirting local laws. Super Pumped also shows the bitter (and often vicious) battles that play out every day in Silicon Valley's boardrooms.

Broken consists of standalone investigative episodes that examine the manufacturing processes and cultural forces behind demand for various products, including makeup, e-cigarettes, furniture, and plastic. Each episode exposes the corrupt and dysfunctional underbelly of these industries.

Why watch? This documentary series will make you smarter as a business owner and consumer. The episodes explore how influencer hype and scarcity marketing create conditions where fake makeup thrives, teens become addicted to e-cigarettes, disposable furniture kills the market, and companies use single-use plastic.

What you'll take away: The series offers a terrifying yet compelling look at the all-powerful influences of globalization, consumer culture, brand hype and mass production that shape the marketing world. The show reinforces the important lesson that misleading marketing and business practices are always wrong.

If you're a fan of Breaking Bad, this prequel is a must-see. (If you haven't seen Breaking Bad yet, it might be time to jump on the bandwagon. It's about a high school chemistry teacher who decides to use his talents to become a drug lord.)

Why should you watch the film? Like its predecessor, Better Call Saul is a gripping drama with black humor and many exciting cliffhangers that will keep you hooked.

What you'll learn: The spin-off tells the origin story of corrupt lawyer Saul Goodman. Saul offers many important lessons for entrepreneurs, such as when to take risks to grow your business and how to embody a “fake it till you make it” attitude. Of course, his successes are overshadowed by the unethical and controversial methods he uses to achieve them. But there are lessons to be learned from his unscrupulous behavior.

This docuseries was so popular for a reason. Software magnate Bill Gates has long been a mystery to the world, but this series gives viewers a glimpse into his true self.

Why watch? This three-part documentary series from Netflix offers a raw look at the human side of the Microsoft co-founder.

What you'll take away: It's rare that we get such intimate access to someone like Gates, and this series does an incredible job of unravelling what sets him apart and the qualities that made him one of the richest men in the world. The series includes stories from his two sisters, his then-wife Melinda Gates, current and former colleagues, friends, and the voice of the late Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen.

In conversations with five highly successful professional sports coaches, The Playbook delves into the psychology of winning and explains what it takes to get there. They discuss setbacks and share fascinating anecdotes from their time. The coaches include: Doc Rivers (NBA), Patrick Mouratoglou (Serena Williams' coach), Jill Ellis (US Women's Soccer), Dawn Staley (NCAA Basketball) and José Mourinho (Soccer).

Why watch it? If you want to understand what it takes to be the best at something, The Playbook is kind of the playbook for that. These coaches have won at the highest levels (national championships, NBA titles, world championships) and know how to get the most out of their players.

What you'll take away: The five-part series will shape your perspective on leadership, motivation and engagement. Just listen to Dawn Staley describe her personal journey with confidence and you'll be ready to run through a wall – and demand more from your own team in business.

This series is based on the autobiography of Girlboss Sophia Amoruso, CEO and founder of Nasty Gal and inspirational entrepreneur. Although this series only ran for one season, it did a great job of illustrating what it takes to succeed in business – especially as a founder. Girlboss is based on the book of the same name and is essentially Amoruso's personal story, with a little bit more drama.

Why watch the show: The series follows Amoruso's efforts to overcome obstacles on her path to success with her vintage fashion brand, Nasty Gal.

What you'll take away: Similar to the classic Silicon Valley story of starting a company in a garage, Amoruso started Nasty Gal in her bedroom at age 22. You see her hit rock bottom, then start over and find her way to success. The series is an inspiring portrayal of an entrepreneur with a passion for what she does and a willingness to give it her all.
